Many pastors, especially in small churches, rarely have the opportunity to get away and seek the Lord for their congregations. Rekindle Retreats are looking for generous families that would be willing to donate their cabins or vacation homes for pastors to use for a spiritual retreat.

Our goal is to provide pastors with a retreat experience that helps them reignite their passion and clarity for their personal life, their church, and their community. We believe that taking time for a ReKindle Retreat can lead to significant spiritual growth and renewal for pastors.”
“We work with pastors both before and after their retreats to ensure a smooth experience. When they arrive at your vacation home, we provide hospitality baskets as a personal warm welcome. We attempt to be at the home upon their arrival to show them around and pray for them as they take this time away. Additionally, we supply ‘ReKindle’ resources—materials they can use during their retreats to enhance their time.
We also handle all the communication that is needed for you, coordinating with the pastors to gather specific details about their arrival and departure times, so everything aligns with your vacation home’s schedule. We also work directly with the pastors to ensure all your expectations as the homeowner are met, guaranteeing that your vacation home is left in perfect condition after their stay.”

David & Aimee are committed to hospitality and its their passion to encourage pastors. David and Aimee are the driving force behind this ministry.

David and Terri are the team behind Rekindle-Retreats. David, being a pastor for over 35 years has a deep understanding of the challenges pastors face.  David and Terri founded Rekindle-Retreat to provide a place for pastors and their spouses to hear from Heaven knowing that being in the “Counsel chamber of the Most High”.Proverbs 25: 2

Guiding Principles

Our Core Priorities for Owners

Making your vacation home a ministry

* We coordinate a calendar of availability with you and communicate all the details about arrival and departures

* We create a contract that each guest will sign detailing all your specific details for your home 

 

* We collect a credit card from the guests to ensure payment for any accidental damage

* We ask each guest pastor to share a testimony of their stay and pass that on to you. 

 

* We can collaborate with our owners if they want to participate in this ministry. Often, our owners want to do more than offer their homes, they want to join in through prayer and even specific gifts or resources they believe will be of help to the pastors and family. We welcome your participation in ReKindle Retreats.
